The 24-story steel-frame, brick-clad structure was designed with elements of the Art Deco style and is characterized by a series of setbacks and terraces on the upper floors. Erected in 1929, the cooperative apartment building is designated as an individual Landmark and includes distinctive corner windows which are referenced in the Landmarks report as the first of their kind to be used in a New York City skyscraper.
